Humanities 201 is a course that aims to cultivate studentsā digital media skills while developing their appreciation for the diversity of human stories. Students complete a personal digital story and a collaborative digital story, in which they work with a community partner to tell a story from their collaborator’s life. In engaging in a collaborative creative project, the student is encouraged to think critically about the ways in which we as writers/creators are responsible to our communities for the choices we make in representing others.PERSONAL DIGITAL STORIES“Burn” by Piper Howard“Our Forever Pets” by Jasmine Tinajero“To Kill a Chicken” by Khoa Do“Memoir” by Sungwon KimCOLLABORATIVE DIGITAL STORIES“My Lust for History” by Sophia Kim (facilitated by Sungwon Kim)“The Unforgettable Spanking Story” by Pat Yackley (facilitated by Leen Ebdair)“Pride in Drag” by Em Williamson (facilitated by Sigi Perez)“60s” by Hannah Jin (facilitated by Cat Garcia)“Got You Under My Skin” by Sarah Siegel (facilitated by Alicia Ribeiro) -
