Humanities 201 is a course that aims to cultivate students’ digital media skills while developing their appreciation for the diversity of human stories. Students complete a personal digital story and a collaborative digital story, in which they work with a community partner to tell a story from their collaborator’s life. In engaging in a collaborative creative project, the student is encouraged to think critically about the ways in which we as writers/creators are responsible to our communities for the choices we make in representing others.
